CHEM135 == General Chemistry for Engineers
CMSC212 == Intro to Low-Level Programming Concepts
CMSC250 == Discrete Structures
ENEE241 == Numerical Techniques in Engineering
PHYS260/261 == General Physics II

I passed CHEM135 last semester and got my three credits, but I guess that wasn't good enough. After all, a computer engineer absolutely needs to know general chemistry in order to do his job. And demonstrating that I've attained even adequate background knowledge on the subject (which couldn't possibly be looked up if ever needed) means nothing if I can't demonstrate that I can use it... Not that we ever did.

One thing I like about the engineering school is that they don't tell you when you need to retake a required course like this until a few weeks before the semester after the course has already filled up.
