It Happened One Morning...

So you know what totally sucks? Finding out the hard way just how fragile an LCD screen is. Allow this image to demonstrate:

The most serious issue of our time: computer parts sensitive to poking. Thankfully, they don't have Facebook.

I soon realized exactly how expensive the freaking thing is when I took it in to be replaced. To quote the silly man: "Oh, you're lucky. For this model a screen only costs $850".

Add to that a $100 installation fee plus tax and you see what hell I face. Comprende? So yeah, why pay like $1000 to fix my computer when I could pay the same for a new one? You see where I'm going with this? Do you? Really? Fo' sho?

Yeah, so I'm going to nickname my three laptops. B0rk, Krak, and Nuu. Then maybe I'll set up all three so they're running at the same time and use their combined power to track down a manbearpig. Whatev Trev.

I still don't feel like using Nuu because I didn't want to get it and now it's like a mysterious transfer student that smells funny.

Lesson learned: when sitting on a bench, you do NOT lean against the back. LCDs are shit whether the laptop's closed or open.
