Sheetrocking

Dirty as it sounds, it's not.

So yeah, on a whim my dad decided to start construction of a room in the basement for me to occupy while doin' time at CP. Most excellent, but it means my weekend's shot. What the fuck. The last time we did something like this was during the summer. But that was two bathrooms which takes a helluva lot more effort than a bedroom. Yes it does. And no demolition this time.

Let me recap this spring break for all 4 of you (and Nick Wang) who read this and pretend to care:

Thursday (night) - Springbrook art show.
Friday - UMCP Open House. Afterward, I hung out with Tristan as we tried to recruit people to play Diplomacy and he got high. Eventually we settled for Risk: Lord of the Rings at Grunewald's house with Hirsh. My aunt/cousin came to visit. I got sick.
Saturday - Went to Hirsh's with Erk and Luke to play Settlers of Catan. Afterwards, we went out and Hirsh bought Risk: Godstorm. We played this and I got in at 12:30.
Sunday - Nothing.
Monday - My aunt leaves but lets my cousin stay here. Risk: 2210 AD at Hirsh's with Luke, Erk, Justin, and Davey. Erk is a moon-whore. Afterwards, Luke and I go to Justin's for karaoke.
Tuesday - Bowling with Erk, Jones, Hirsh, Justin, and Davey. After, we play Risk: 2210 AD again. Erk is again a moon-whore.
Wednesday - Myself, Greg, and Massa Choe go out and play pool at UMCP.
Thursday - Nothing. Cousin leaves. I clean out the basement.
Friday - Bought 9 sheets of sheetrock, 34 2x4's, 3 pressure-treated 2x4's, 3 2x6's, 7 outside edges, 2 buckets of joint compound (which smells of danishes, for those of you who don't remember what I wrote about over a year and a half ago on Xanga), and a bunch of drywall screws. Thank You For Smoking with Vivian and some of her pals (and "an asscrack"). I hit 90 on 29 in a big-ass van. Fun.
Saturday - Two and a half hours of sleep. Finished building the frame for the wall/closet and mounting drywall. Applied joint compound (danishes...). Good stuff.
Sunday - Easter. I don't remember anything before dinner except Layer Cake.
Monday - (pending)

Chyea.
UMCP Scholars is absolute ballcrap. I won't do it.
