Computer Troubles, Part (n+1)

Windows XP Service Pack 3 is a bitch. But from this utter disaster came good things:
1) I became motivated to fix my wireless card and get Laptop #3 connected in all its obsolete goodness.
2) I reformatted Laptop #2 and got it running smoothly.
3) I discovered that my brother has one of my power cords and thus owes me something in return.
4) I learned the remarkably simple process of attaching an external monitor to Laptop #2, thereby overcoming the reason I stopped using it in the first place.
5) I got to get pissy with Microsoft.
6) I found, through my interactions on Laptop #3, the interest and inspiration that led me to become a computer engineering major.
7) ?????
8) Profit!

Unfortunately, until Laptop #1 is fixed I am without many of my personally important files. So no remixes or anything for a short while. =(
